Agree with local guy about the mob behind the dug out. The abuse was out of order, especially directed at the coaching staff. Is that why Jimmy Brown didn't appear at the touchline for the second half?
Fans like that we can do without. The Vale might be skint but I think they would be happy to do without the twent or thirty quid that mob put in the kitty.

agree with diehard, only fit guys on that team were the defence, oh' and wee number 7. ball on deck instead of big punts from defence, which bypassed our midfield. 20 mins to go they were bushed, running at them, they had no guts left, made us look good, but,end of the day we got the points we need, but made it hard for ourselfs. PS.the lot behind the dugout, should encourage, have they not heard of fans being the extra man. lets get behind the team and not on their backs when things are not good

Ok so some of us were caught at the Bingo, no big deal. Bingo was once considered to be the game of 'Little Old Ladies' but it is now attracting younger people like myself. The reason being is that people are looking past the dull cliche that it is a boring game. In actual fact it can be quite fast paced and exciting. I have gone along with Gimp and Broonie to play bingo a few times and I have found that it is quite demanding in nature. I struggled to find my numbers in time and I was only playing one game at a time. Other older veterans of the game had all their fancy coloured markers and were playing two to three games at a time quite comfortably. Many 'little old ladies' may play but they are sure to give you a run for your money.

I agree, a disappointing match as far as the Vale are concerned, but good to see Toby get his first goal of the season - let's hope there are a few more to come. (he must have made a few bob with that one) As at Renfrew I thought the officials were more inclined to benefit the "big" team, the fat linesman was a disgrace for missing some blatant fouls and the hand ball for their second. But let's get the real fans behind the team now and give the boys some support next week.

sadly on the day to many not up to the challenge. the first 20 mins looking good then lose a goal and things go wrong start to lose the middle of the park and goalkeeper does not recover .half timeshould have produced a change of tactics not just swopping two wide men loss second goal then master stroke put centre half up front how many times does this happen and there is no benifit . why not bring on hunter and move boal up front through middleand go three at the back as they did not like anyone running at them with the ball at there feet .time to discard tactics board and start again.hope to see deadly back soon this will mean change

Soaked for that nonsense.Referee was terrible and linesman was even worse. Davie Rodgers what a tackle, see if you can show big Wardle for the next game. Real fans only at the game from now on, too many mouths who we've not missed all season, think they can come down and shout at Shug and Jimmy about the teams performance and it's their first and hopefully last game of the season.

He should only be cup tied for the West of Scotland cup ties, so he'll miss the Shotts game and the run to the final :-)
He should be available for the Maryhill game as it's the first round of the Central District Cup. So he might get just one medal this season, as he's cup ties for the Scottish cup. A nice wee treble for the boys to chase?

Regarding David Meechan the situation is quite simple - Largs still owed Vale for the final instalment on the transfer fee which was due on 1st January. That money would have been forthcoming but Vale were looking for backup for Hugh Ward and decided to take a gamble in bringing Meechan back. I say a gamble because it is not every player that is a success 2nd time around and with him being cup tied he is more an investment for next season when we must go all out for the Super League. If he succeeds this season then that will be a bonus. His disciplinary record I admit was not great but hopefully that will be improved upon.

Rumour factory says Davy is coming back because Largs haven't paid the full transfer fee not because Vale want him back. His disciplinary record is terrible that's why Angus sold him. I guess he is only back to be sold again. Vale have done great without him. he will be a squad player if he comes back and quite rightly so.

Any truth in the very strong rumor that we have resigned David Meechan from Largs? Hope so, we need some more backup for Shuggie Ward. I think most of the support would want him back although I don't suppose Angus will be too happy at not getting anymore cash for him.

After going in at half time 2-0 down a much better second half saw the boys salvage a draw from a game they should have won. Congratulations to Broonie on his 100th game for the Vale

Elvis - Glad you'll not make it as you were all shook up in Graceland last year and we won't need to reserve funds for the usual early bath you like to take.Jojo will be advised to wear his winkle pickers incase his false teeth fly out. As for Soggy,Goodie will get you a good price for a new bathroom suite if you don't attend as your current one will be used as a urinal before we embark onwards and upwards to the bright lights of ********.

Well done to the lads beating Benburb 2-1 in the cup. It was a better victory than the score suggests.

Well done everyone, a Great result today at Renfrew. Crap ref, thugs for opponents but the effort put in was great to see and we got the win we deserved. Big Brian Wardle played a blinder - well done.
