Yes you are quite right to ask the question re the Player of the Year dance. Unfortunately a break down in communications led to it being arranged for the Golf Club and at this late stage it could not be rescheduled for The Riverside. This has left us in an embarassing position with a sponsor who has been very good to us. Hopefully we can overcome any problem we may have with an unhappy sponsor.

Stephen (Stretch) Gow has sent an invitation to the Players,Officials and their partners to join Elaine and himself at their wedding reception in the Abbotsford Hotel on Saturday 14th June kick off 7.30 p.m. Remember Gowser plenty of groin stretches before the big night and try to last by 9.00 p.m. as I don't fancy carrying your 18 stone frame up the stairs in the hotel ya F*D. Lottery ill be run for another two weeks to generate some cash to buy paint for the trackside wall. We need volunteers to paint the wall as the paint arrived today. Contact Angus.

In the first 20 minutes against Troon we looked good but I thought we were unprepared at the start of the second half. It's a pity the seasons nearly done and we've nothing to show for our efforts. We've beat some good teams this season (Benburb, Renfrew, Shotts) and been unlucky against Maryhill and Neilston so we've got nothing to be ashamed of. The heart of the team's good, Hugh Hamill's fighting spirit is there for us all to see. Lets do it next season, Super League here we come. By the way, Ours is still the best playing surface in junior football no doubt, well done Colin.

Angus - Why do we have 3 games in 5 days before the quarter final of the West on the Saturday, that will be 4 games in 7 days while Troon don't have any games scheduled for the next two weeks. Could we get the Rob Roy game on the Wednesday moved to the following week as any players who get injured from the Wednesday game will only have two games to recover and will struggle to make the match. If Martin O'Neil thinks he's got fixture problems he should look at the Vale's fixtures,IT'S A CONSPIRACY.

Special mention for the Vale's No 5 who, on the end of what
seemed like a very bad tackle from a Glen's player, and who the
ref was ready to caution, the Vale player very sportingly spoke up
for his opponent - no caution issued.

So good to see such sportmanship in what was a vital game for
both teams. Credit to the Vale.

Glencairn 2 Vale 1.Worst game i've seen all season. If Big Wardle has to play upfront then can someone give him a loan of a first touch?.Kilsyth get beat and that rubbish beat us again,6 points dropped to the Glens.Still it's not over yet, get the ball out to the wings this up the middle is a waste of time lets see some real heart to it really is all over.

That very fine young player David Meechan is probably free from injury but if you are asking is he FIT then that is another matter. He could probably do with some sessions with a proper fitness coach after eating his way through Nardinis during his rest at Largs. Hope to see him playing on Saturday beside Shug Ward as they are our best chance of a goal.

good result against v.o.clyde but not a good game at all. Wish we would play the ball on the ground and stop the big punt from the back. When we play the passing game we can tear teams apart and i'm sure hugh hamil trains the team to pass the ball. Come on lads lets see some good football.

whats the hassle,we won does it matter who did what. we got the result we wanted, its a team game they all contribute, wee need each other, i agree young meeky maybe needs more hunger, seems to me last couple of games he has the fire back in his belly. as his goals and performance shows. looks to us guys in the fox the young fella is nearly back to his best. its a team effort and us guys are the extra man. lets keep the mome goingmtum.

to so called vale fan, were u there at perth game. if scoring goals like that every week is not trying i will take that every week. any player that scores more goals than he plays games, would be welcome in any league. we dont know the facts why he went, but us guys who go every week are sure glad hes back, get a life and smell the coffee. mon the pale ale

To jags fan, That is the boy that went to largs (for the money) well i can't comment on his performance against you's in his time at largs, but to be honest i think he will be goin again soon he doesn't really seem to be tryin in the games the way he did the first time he was here, you can ask the majority of vale fans and i'm sure they'll agree with me.

was impressed with your team in the cup,we were well warned about your wee blonde striker,is he the boy that went to largs, they must have some right good strikers to sell him, he gave us a bad time of it,in a pre season friendly. if we are honest wee got the breaks at the vale.

thought the ref did well on saturday. he was fair - got one or two decisions wrong. especially an offside when he let play go but hughie ward was a full 15 yards offside. a lot better than the previous week.

you were cheated lads, not unlucky,CHEATED. the ref was a disgrace to his profession, even the nearside linesman was shaking his head at some decisions, the ref would not have seen that as he ignored him all game.keep the fighting spirit going everyone knows how formidable you are at home lets carry that spirit into away games, it should never have gone to penalties, young meeky had a perfectly good goal disallowed. the maryhill boys know they got out of jail, they will know they got more than there fair share of the breaks.

We wuz robbed. A great show from the lads but having to play against the ref it was always going to be difficult. A great start - let's see more of that in the league games that are left. Kilsyth dropped points today - it's not over till Meechy sings.

agree about that mob behind the dugout. one of the tossers was still moaning when we went 3-2 up. Also agree about ball being humped up park. play the easy ball and use midfield.
